Volleyball team wins first match of season

The Penn State DuBois volleyball team has been making steady improvement all season, the hard work finally paid off with a win on Tuesday night over PS Scranton. Coach Julia Kennis credits over all team play, strong serving and hustle from her young team to earn the first victory of the season. The 3-0 victory was attained by scores of (25-12), (25-18), (25-13); a large crowd with many wear "pink" in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month cheered the team on to its first win.
The last home game of the season will be played on Sunday, Oct. 16th at noon. A brief recognition ceremony prior to the game will recognize seniors and players who will be moving on to another campus next season.
