PSU DuBois recorded it first dual meet win over Apprentice School (Norfolk, VA) at home on Saturday afternoon. Both teams won 4 matches, but the difference was bonus points scored for DuBois. Jake Himes recorded a Tech Fall 15-0 as he put on a tilting clinic in the first period over Saunders of Apprentice, Ty Haines wrestled avsolid match gaining a maj decision 15-3 over Kyle Lowry, and Tim Suydan clinched the win with a first period fall against Shakeem Lassister. Also, scoring a tough win was John Prentice 14-7 decision over Philip Porto.
Coach David Hoare had the team prepared for a tough match and the bouts that PSUD did lose were all close scores. Bottom line everyone wrestled very well and were ready to carry the fight to their opponents.
