7 Wrestlers place at Thunderwolves Open

The Penn State DuBois wrestlers had another good Saturday on the mats as seven individuals placed in their weight class at the 38^th annual Thunderwolves Open at Niagara County CC.  Leading the way for the DuBois squad were 2^nd place finishers Kasey Haines (149), Garrett Singer (157), Joe Shields (197).  Also placing were Garrett Zarecky 6^th (141), Shane Alterio 5^th (157), Chike Okolo 3^rd (197), Chris Minarchick 6^th (285).  Coach Park was happy with the outcome of several of the weight classes considering the competition level was very tough.  Coach Park said "this is the best we have competed in the three years we have been coming to the tournament.  It's good to see so many guys making progress, some of the younger guys are gainer experience and getting exposed to good college wrestling".
