Penn State DuBois Women's Basketball is proud to announce that Mackenzie Bauer from North Clarion High School will continue her basketball career at the DuBois Campus of Penn State. Last season, the 5'3" point guard averaged 10.4 points per game while helping the She-Wolves finish with a 19-7 record while winning the District IX Class A title.
Entering her senior year, Mackenzie, the 2nd team KSAC All-Star and 2019 Kane Christmas Tournament MVP, will look to help her team to its 3rd consecutive District IX Championship.
Mackenzie has been accepted into the Physical Therapy Assistant program.
"Mackenzie is exactly the type of point guard that we look for at PSUD. She is a hard worker, unselfish, and makes the players around her better," stated PSUD Coach Pat Lewis. "The most important thing is that she is a good student and will thrive in our style of play. We are excited to have her join our program."
