Maddie Sprankle will continue her basketball career at PS DuBois

Penn State DuBois Women's Basketball is proud to announce that Maddie Sprankle from Johnstown Christian School will continue her basketball career at Penn State DuBois.  A four-year starter at JCS, Maddie finished her high school career with 1417 points.  She will be coming to PSUD with valuable collegiate playing experience after spending the past two seasons at NCAA DIII Eastern Nazarene College in Quincy, MA and Penn Highlands CC in Johnstown, PA.   Last season, while at Penn Highlands, Maddie led her team in scoring, averaging 15.3 ppg and handing out 3.4 assists per game. The 5'5" point guard has been accepted into the Physical Therapy Assistant program.

Commenting on the signing of Sprankle, PSUD Coach Pat Lewis had this to say, "Maddie is a fantastic addition to our program because not only is she a gifted athlete and student, but she is a very nice young lady.  On the court, she adds quickness and ball handling to our team as well as the ability to score and distribute the ball.  She is a relentless worker that will easily fit in with our returning players."
