PSUD Women Down PSU Scranton
The Penn State DuBois Women's Basketball team bounced back from a loss to Wilkes-Barre with a 77-62 win over Penn State Scranton on Saturday afternoon. The win improves the women's record to (11-5) overall and (4-3) in the PSUAC conference.
Four players reached double figures in the game with three players recording double-doubles. Kristen Williams (Eisenhower) lead all PSUD scorers with 18 points. Recording double-doubles were Lauren Young (Bellefonte) with a career high 17 rebounds and 11 points, Hope Bridge (Punxsutawney) 13 points and 13 rebounds, and Melody Young (Otto Eldred) 12 points and 12 rebounds.
The Penn State DuBois team returns to action at home on Tuesday at 5:00 against the #3 ranked team in the USCAA National Coach's Poll, Villa Maria.
