PSUD Women Pick Up 5th Win in a Row
The Penn State DuBois Women traveled to Penn State Mont Alto and took home a 69-53 win over the home team. PSUD won their fifth game in a row while improving to 5-1 and 1-0 in the Penn State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC).
Four players put up double figures with Kashius Harris (Beaver Falls) 14 points leading the way. Melody Young (Otto Eldred) hit for 13 points, Grace Earle (Cowanesque Valley) had 10 points, and Hope Bridge (Punxsutawney) had a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
"Our girls hit the boards really hard and limited them to one shot on many trips down the floor. Rebounding and foul shooting played a pivotal roll in the win," stated coach Pat Lewis. The Lady Lions were 15-20 from the foul line and outrebounded Mont Alto 55-41 in the contest.
