The Penn State DuBois women's basketball team (3-1) picked up its second road win as they topped Lorain County Community College, 82-59 on Wednesday night.

The Lady Lions jumped out to a 45-22 halftime lead and never let the lead drop below 15 points in the second half to secure the win. "I felt that the girls really stepped it up defensively tonight and we really controlled the tempo of the game by controlling the boards. We also shot extremely well (56%) from the field," stated DuBois coach Pat Lewis.

The Lady Lions were led by six players in double figures. Melody Young (Otto Eldred) and Juliana Vokes (Brockway) shared the team high 15 points. They were followed by Kristen Williams (Eisenhower) 14 points with Hope Bridge (Punxsutawney), Kristy Hanes (Elk County), and Kashius Harris (Beaver Falls), all registering 10 points each.

The Lady Lions return to action as they host the Butler County Community College, Tuesday, November 22, 2016. Game time is one hour earlier than normal with a 5:00 p.m. tip-off.
