Penn State DuBois Women's Basketball is proud to announce that Hope Bridge from Punxsutawney Area High School will continue her basketball career at the DuBois Campus of Penn State.  A three-year starter at Punxsutawney, Hope helped the Chucks, the past two seasons, to two District 9 Championships, as well as twice advancing to the PIAA State Playoffs.  Hope was selected the past two seasons to the District IX League All-Stars as well as the Punxsutawney Holiday Tournament All-Star team.  The 6'2" forward averaged 10.7 points per game and she has been accepted into the Penn State DuBois Wildlife program.  "Hope will be a perfect fit at Penn State DuBois.  She is a good athlete and a strong student.  She has a very soft shooting touch and is a strong rebounder.  I'm excited that she will be joining our program at PSUD," stated PSUD head coach Pat Lewis.
