PSUD Drops Penn State Schuylkill 78-68
The Penn State DuBois Lady Lions kicked of their second semester with a 78-68 home win against Penn State Schuylkill. The win improves PSUD's conference to (3-3) and overall (4-8) overall. DuBois has won three of their last four games.
In a well-rounded attack, PSUD had five players hit double figures in the victory. Mary Pillot (Bald Eagle Area) led the charge with 18 points including five three's. Right behind were Kristy Hanes (Elk County Catholic) 13 points, Kiley Lewis (Cameron County) 12 points, Patience McCullough (Purchase Line) 12 points, and Juliana Vokes (Brockway) 10 points. Jordan Fairman (DuBois HS) tallied 7 points and Ashley Brown (Otto Eldred) 6 points rounded out the scoring. Brown and Linsey Mizic (Pottstown) both controlled the flow of the game with numerous assists.
PSUD returns to action on Thursday, as they travel to Penn State Greater Allegany for their next conference match-up.
