The Penn State DuBois Lady Lions enter the 2013-14 season looking to rebound from a (5-15) season last year.  DuBois will be also looking to replace two PSUAC All-Star selections, Karly Carnovale and Karlee Cyphert.

Experience should not be a problem as four players that saw action in all twenty games last year, rejoin the team.  Returning players for PSUD are Patience McCullough (Sr.), Kiley Lewis (So.), Jordan Fairman (So.), and Linsey Mizic (So.).

In the forward spots, Patience McCullough (13 ppg, 9 rpg), last seasons second leading scorer and rebounder, will be once again paired up with last year's leading rebounder and PSUD's Rookie of the Year, Kiley Lewis (10 ppg, 11 rpg) to form a strong inside scoring and rebounding combination.  Jordan Fairman, (8 ppg, 6 rpg) and Linsey Mizic (6 ppg, 3 rpg) will supply experience from the guard positions, where they both saw extensive playing time last season.

A strong recruiting class includes PG Ashley Brown (Otto Eldred), G Mary Pillot (Bald Eagle Area), G/F Chelsea Szakal (Monessen), and F Juli Vokes (Brockway).

Brown, a North Tier All-Star selection averaged 12 ppg and was a three-year starter at Otto-Eldred High School.  Another high school three-year starter, Szakal helped lead the Monessen Lady Hounds to the state playoffs as a junior while averaging 10 ppg and 10 rpg as a senior.  Pillot, a starting guard averaged 9.3 ppg on a Bald Eagle Area team that compiled a 22-3 record last season and entered the District 6 playoffs.  Vokes a 5'10" F, lead her Brockway High School team in scoring with a 9.6 ppg average.

Expectations are high as the Penn State DuBois Lady Lions look to return to the PSUAC playoffs after a one-year hiatus.
