PSU DuBois Falls to Hilbert College

The PSU DuBois Lady Lions (1-1) dropped a 67-40 decision to NCAA Division III Hilbert College on Saturday.  After Penn State held the lead most of the first half, Hilbert's shooting improved to help them pull away from the DuBois squad in the second half.

PSUD was led by Karly Carnovale (Elk County) with 11 points and 3 steals while Kiley Lewis (Cameron County) hauled in a career high 17 rebounds, 3 assists and 5 points.  Other contributions came from Karlee Cyphert (North Clarion) 7 points and 5 rebounds, Jordan Fairman (DuBois HS) dropped in 8 points, Linsey Mizic (Pottsgrove) tallied 6 points and Patience McCullough (Purchase Line) collected 4 rebounds and had 3 blocked shots.

Hilbert's Natalie Whitman led all scorers with 25 points and 10 rebounds.

PSUD returns to action on Monday (11/19/12) as they travel to CCAC-Boyce in Monroeville, PA.
