Penn State Women roll over Pitt-Titusville

PSUD Women improve to 8-4

 The Penn State DuBois Lady Lions (8-4) returned from the break with an impressive win against the University of Pittsburgh at Titusville by the score of 70-46. DuBois hit for 10 three pointers on only 13 attempts as they opened up a quick 43-20 halftime lead to cruise to victory.

 Four players reached double figures in the win.  Tessa Vargas (Sheffield) and Patience McCullough (Purchase Line) lead the charge with 17 and 16 points respectively.  Joining them in double figures were Lynnie Schirmer (Clarion-Limestone) 14 points and Kyley Mickle (Port Allegany) 12 points.  Karlee Cyphert handed out 5 assists.

 The Lady Lions return to action when they travel to PSU Wilkes-Barre on January 20, 2012 for a 6:00 game.
