PSU DuBois Lady Lions Basketball

 PSU DuBois Women Pick Up Win 

The PSU DuBois Lady Lions traveled to Monroeville this past Saturday to face CCAC Boyce (Community College of Allegany at Boyce).  Balanced scoring and strong rebounding powered the Lady Lions (2-2) to their second win of the young season by the score of 80-61.

 Penn State had four women reach double figures, lead by Tessa Vargas (Sheffield) with 16 points.  Also in double figures were Missy Aul (St. Marys) 12 points, while Jessica Tarr (North Clarion) and Karlee Cyphert (North Clarion) both added 10 a piece.  Kelsey Rini (East Forest) and Patience McCullough (Purchase Line) both hauled in a team high 11 rebounds.  Tarr and Theresa Skillman (Bradford) also collected 8 rebounds a piece.

 The Lady Lions return to action on Tuesday at home, hosting Westmoreland County Community College in a men's and women's doubleheader.  Game times are 6:00 and 8:00.
