Penn State DuBois is excited to announce that Cayleigh Huffman of Cabot High School in Cabot, Arkansas has decided to continue her academic and athetic softball career at Penn State DuBois. Cayleigh is an honor roll student and is interested in Psychology. A power hitting corner infielder at first base, Head Women's Softball Coach Jason Kern is thrilled to add Cayleigh to the 2018 recruiting class. "Cayleigh was 2nd in the conference as a junior in power hitting but her fielding ability gets overlooked. She is strong and reliable at first base and her fielding ability that we saw on film was our first attraction to Cayleigh. She has an excellent knowledge of the strike zone, only 3 strikeouts last year while walking 8 times. Above all, she is just a great, hardworking, young lady that we are thrilled to have on campus." Kern said.
