PSUD's Pensak runs well in cold, wet conditions at Fayette Invitational

Pensak Ranks in Top 10 of the PSUAC

Penn State Fayette hosted an invitational this past Saturday including all the schools that make up the PSUAC (Penn State University Athletics Conference).  Despite rainy and chilly conditions, runners still performed at high levels.  Among the schools that competed were Penn State Worthington Scranton, Penn State Wilks-Barre, Penn State Greater Allegheny, Penn State Fayette, Penn State Brandywine, Penn State Mont Alto, Penn College, and Penn State DuBois.

Penn State DuBois' runner, Garrett Pensak (fr.), continues to impress in his first year of collegiate running.  Garrett took 10th in the men's 8k race.  "This was a really important race for us because it gives us a mid-season evaluation of what we will be up against for the championships," said Head Coach, Kyle Gordon.  In regards to his own feelings on his performance, Pensak had this say,  "It's cool, but we still have a lot of work to do.  There are still nine spots ahead of me that I need to work towards."  Penn State DuBois travels to Penn State Wilkes-Barre this Saturday for their next competition.  The PSUAC Cross Country Championship will be held Saturday October 19th in Scranton, PA.
