Three members of the Penn State DuBois cross country team competed in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) national championship meet on November 5th in Concord, NH.  Gabrielle Brennan, Kyle Gordon, and Chris Antonio represented PSU DuBois at the event hosted by New Hampshire Technical Institute (NHTI).

Brennan placed 68th of 86 in the women's 6K race, with a time of 32:24.  In the men's 8K race, with 122 participating, Antonio placed 94th with a time of 32:53, and Gordon finish at 110 with a time of 35:54.

"Our athletes ran well on such a flat course.  It was a good change from the hills that are normally raced in Pennsylvania," said Penn state DuBois cross country coach Jeremy Bochert.  "The breakout performer is Chris Antonio as he improved by 5 minutes today in the 8K compared to his last race.  It was a good experience for all three runners and I hope that they have gained something special from this race, as I have."

The overall champion in the women's race Logan Fry of St. Mary's-of-the-Woods College in 24:08. St. Mary's-of-the-Woods also claimed the women's team title.  The men's championship race was won by Abram Deng of Spalding University in 25:22.  Spalding University won the Men's team title.  19 Universities were represented at the USCAA Cross Country Championships this year with teams from New Mexico, Arizona, and Florida that made the trip to Concord, NH
