DuBois Men Earn First Win

Efficiency from the free throw line propelled the Penn State DuBois men's basketball team to their first win of the season on Tuesday night as they defeated host PSU Shenango.

In the first half DuBois' Jaiquil Johnson would put up 16 points while teammate Zayver Craft would grab 8 rebounds to help keep the lead headed into half time.  DuBois was 12 for 16 from the free throw line as a team in the first 20 minutes of play.

DuBois would keep their momentum going as they came out for the second half of play.  Johnson would drop 22 more points, and the team would go 23 for 26 in the second half from the free throw line.

DuBois would end the game with an 88-73 victory for their first win of the year.  Johnson would end with 38 points, and shoot 13 of16 from the free throw line.  Malik Gordon would finish with 16 points, as he would go 9 of 10 from the free throw line. 

Craft would end with 14 points and 12 rebounds, and Osagie Evbuomwan would finish the night pulling down 11 rebounds of his own.

DuBois next game will be Sunday when they travel to PSU York.
