DuBois Loss to York A Heartbreaker

DuBois Loss to York A Heartbreaker

The Penn State DuBois men's basketball team had another exciting evening of basketball after just coming off an almost huge upset of Mont Alto on Friday evening.  DuBois hosted PSU York in another PSUAC matchup last night, and what a game it was.

York jumped out to a quick 14-4 lead, and would hold that for the first half as they would take a 42-29 lead into the locker room.  It was the adjustments at halftime for DuBois that would bring the crowd to their feet for much of the second half.

DuBois defense was getting stop after stop, and the offense was hitting shot after shot until DuBois finally took a 1-point lead, 57-56.  Back and for the score would go, but York would pull away with about 3 minutes remaining in the game to hand DuBois their 2nd heart breaking defeat in as many games.

Cole Morris (Rimersburg, PA) and Amareay Walters (La Plata, MD) would lead DuBois scorers with 16 and 14 points, respectively.  Walters also added in 4 steals on the night.
