First Conference Win

First Conference Win

The Penn State DuBois men's basketball team played their last home game of the season this afternoon against visiting Penn State Scranton.  DuBois, winless in the PSUAC this season had one more chance to give their home crowd a victory.  On this senior day for Bernard Rauckhorst, he desperately wanted to go out with a win on his home floor.  Rauckhorst getting the start won the tip to get his team off to the right start, and DuBois never looked back from there.  Firing on all cylinders, Coach Howard's team left it all on the floor for 40 straight minutes.

Bringing the press into the equation made Scranton fumble into a few turnovers, and some quick 3's from Tyler Davis, DuBois was ready to get score in their favor.  DuBois distributed the ball masterfully as they ended the game with a season high team total 21 assists.

Davis had a career night scoring 21 points with 7 rebounds and 5 assists.  Dylan Huey added a double-double to lift the team with 16 points, 12 rebounds.
