The Penn State DuBois Men's Basketball team travelled to Penn State Schuylkill Friday night for another PSUAC contest.  Out of the gate Schuylkill hit a 3-point bucket, but DuBois would strike back quickly with the energetic freshman, Osagie Evbuomwan (Severn, MD) in the starting line-up.  Evbuomwan would grab a quick rebound, and fellow freshman, Brandon Bernhardt (Milton, NJ) would find him on the other end for the bucket to put DuBois on the board.

A Cole Morris (Rimersburg, PA) rebound and jump shot would tie the game at 5, and an offensive put back by Evbuomwan would give DuBois their first lead.  After a block by Bernhardt, a rebound by Evbuomwan, and a made 3-point field goal by Morris, DuBois was looking to take early control of this game.  A bit of a cold shooting stretch would slow that down a little though, as Schuylkill would take advantage of the missed opportunities and go on a 9-0 run to take back a 4-point lead.

For the next 2:30 the game would be stalemated, as the score would stick at 21-22 in Schuylkill's favor.  Finally, a pair of free throws from Zack Dahlstrand (Erie, PA) would put DuBois back on top, and give a little life to the game.  A couple of traded 3-point shots from Bernhardt and Schuylkill's Devin King would raise the score, but the game remained tied at 29.  King would then take control offensively for his squad, and put in a couple more 3-point shots to close out the half with a 6-point lead.

DuBois was still easily in the game, but allowing King to get hot from the 3-point line was dangerous, and Coach Howard knew it.  Making some adjustments at half to stim King's offensive shooting threat would be helpful, but how much?

The second half started with another 3-point field goal from Schuylkill, but DuBois's Dylan Huey (Punxsutawney, PA) would get his team started with his first bucket of the night.  Dahlstrand would then hit a three of his own before Huey would score again off of another assist from Morris. 

 A few early 3-pointers by Schuylkill put DuBois in an uphill battle, and found themselves down by 14 in the first five minutes of the second half.  DuBois fought the battle, but the turnovers would prove to be too many.  Schuylkill would capitalize, scoring 17 points off of 22 DuBois turnovers.  Schuylkill would go on to win the game, 83-64.

Morris would lead all DuBois scorers with 12, including 3 for 5 from the 3-point line, and added 6 assists.  Dahlstrand put up 11 points, and Evbuomwan pulled down a game high 11 rebounds.
