#2 Villa Maria Handles PSUD
At home Penn State Dubois men's basketball was hoping to end a 2 game losing streak. Villa Maria, the number 2 rated team in the country for USCAA Division 2 had their own plans as they ran away with a 104-58 victory. Villa Maria handed out 14 assist to only 7 turnovers, as PSUD struggled turning over the ball 19 times to just 11 assists. Villa Maria's stifling defense would hold PSUD to 31% shooting from the floor (19-62)
Sophmore Trey Rauckhorst (Grampian,PA) was the only PSUD player in double figures with 11 while also grabbing 7 boards.
PSUD will return to conference play Friday 8pm at home against PSU Hazleton and Saturday at 3 pm against PSU Schuylkill.
