Bench Play Leads PSUD over Pitt Titusville  71-58

Contradictory to the past, Dubois struggled to get buckets to start the game. Titusville jumped out to a 10 point lead within the first five minutes before Dubois' Sam Roselli was able to break the through with a converted layup. Each team traded baskets up to the ten minute mark; score was 18-10 in favor of Pitt. A layup from Trey Rauckhorst brought Dubois within 6 with five minutes left in the first half. Titusville ended the first half with a 10-9 run as they walked into halftime with a 5 point lead.

Dubois exploded out the gate as they jumped out to a 9 point lead after making a 16-2 run in the first five minutes of the second half. With the assistance of Trey Rauckhorst, Dubois continued their tear as they went on another 16-4 run pushing their lead to 21. Dubois was able to hold onto that lead as they found themselves up 24 with five minutes remaining in the game. Titusville ended the game on a 13-2 run however; it wasn't enough to surpass Dubois as they came up short 58-71. Notable players for Dubois were: Roselli 14, Rauckhorst 13, Pierce 9, Washingotn 8, Boyd 6, and Pearce 6.

Dubois travels to 2nd ranked PSU Greater Allegheny on Tuesday, February 7. Tip is set for 8:00.
