Second Half Surge Helps Lift PSUD over New Kensington  87-74

Points off turnovers proved to be significant for Dubois on Saturday afternoon as six players were able to reach double digit scoring. A jump shot by Tristan Pierce took Dubois to a six point lead five minutes into the game. With assistance from Trey Rauckhorst, Dubois was able to push the lead to eight halfway through the first half 21-13. A three pointer from PSUNK's Rouse brought them within two 28-26 with five minutes remaining. Dubois was able to finish the half on a 8-4 run as they walked into halftime with a 6 point lead.

PSUNK started the second half charging to within 1 point in the first five minutes. Dubois answered climbing to a 12 point lead with ten minutes remaining in the game. A three point shot from Tristan Pierce helped keep Dubois at a 12 point margin at the five minute mark. Dubois finished the game outscoring PSUNK 9-8 as they solidified the 13 point win. Notable players for Dubois were: Pierce 21, Roselli 15, Rauckhorst 12, Aucker 12, Pearce 11, and Reynolds 10.

Dubois hosts Pitt Titusville on Monday, January 6th to play in their makeup game with them. Tip is set for 7:00.
