PSUD Men Drop close game to PSU Schuylkill
Dubois would travel to PSU Schuylkill to play the second of their two game road stand. Both teams raced out to a quick start as the game was 7-5 in favor of Dubois five minutes into the game. The next five basically mirrored the first as Dubois continued to hold the lead 14-11. A three pointer from Jacoby tied the game at 27 all with just five minutes left in the first half. Jacoby would then sink a free throw as they went into halftime with a one-point lead.
Schuylkill would open up the second half with a 19-11 run making it 53-44 in the opening five minutes. Dubois would answer with a 13-8 run of their own as they deflated the deficit to just 4. The last ten minutes turned out to be a dog fight on the hardwood. Five minutes remaining in the game, Dubois was down 2, 67-69. Schuylkill would end the game on an 11-8 run with the help of Jacoby's shooting beyond the arc and the charity stripe. Notable players for Dubois were: Pierce 18-7, Roselli 17-9, Pearce 9, Reynolds 8, and Aucker 7. Dubois drops to .500 in the PSUAC and 10-9 overall.
Dubois plays host to PSU Beaver on Tuesday, January 31 for their WHITE OUT game. They will also pay tribute to their senior, Sam Roselli as he plays in his last collegiate home game. Tip is set for 8:00. Come out and show your support.
