Dubois Men pull out Win against PSU Worthington-Scranton

Coming off a loss the night before, Dubois knew they had to clinch a win in order to stay above the playoff race. Five minutes into the game Dubois found themselves down 5. A layup by Dane Aucker (Dubois) tied the game with ten minutes remaining in the first half. Dubois was able to pull out to an eleven point lead with just under five minutes. Dubois went on to hold onto a 9 point lead going into the half.

A three point from Scranton brought them to within 5 with just under fifteen minutes to go. Dubois would follow up with a 15-5 run with ten minutes remaining; PSUD was up 62-46. Scranton then made a run of their own cutting into the lead as they came within 9 points with five minutes left in the game. Dubois was able to hold off Scranton as they won 72-64 as the final buzzer rang. Notable players for Dubois were: Pierce 29 & 10, Pearce 11, and Perrin 7 & 10. With the win, Dubois moves to 6-4 in the PSUAC and 10-7 overall. PSUD return to the road as they travel to Hazelton and Schuylkill next Friday and Saturday, January 27-28th.
