PSUD Hold off Fayette in Overtime Win at Home

An even matchup proved its presence as the game was tied at 7 within the first five minutes. Dubois continued to find the bottom of the net as they went on a 19-12 run for the following five minutes. Two made free throws by Dylan Huey put Dubois up 7 with five minutes remaining in the first half. PSUD was able to hold Fayette to a 10 point lead going into halftime.

The pace of the game remained the same as Fayette would cut into the lead. Dubois was up 7 with fifteen minutes remaining in regulation. The fight continued when Fayette would find themselves down just 4 halfway through the second half. A three point shot from Fayette would bring them even closer as they were only down 3 with just under five minutes remaining in regulation. Fayette finished the game on a 10-7 run. The score at this point was tied at 83 a-piece. A last second attempt from Dubois unwillingly rolled off the side of the rim as the game headed into overtime.

Dubois was able to continue their offensive dominance as they found the bottom of the net during the five minutes of overtime. With :01 on the clock, a made free throw by Dubois' Pierce would solidify the home win. Dubois was able to edge Fayette 98-95.
