PSUD Men Drop One on Road against Conference Rival

Between injuries and an absence beyond the arc, the Nittany Lions of Dubois just couldn't seem to get into a flow while at PSU Beaver. Within the first five minutes of the game, Beaver jumped out to a 15-1 lead. Frustrations and a sense of urgency began to cultivate as Dubois started a 6-2 run, coming within 10 points halfway through the first half. If the past was any indication, the Beaver men stayed true to their M.O. as they never let up. They were able to finish the first half on a 24-17 run. Halftime score was 24-41 in favor of Beaver.

Dubois was able to start the second half strong as they cut into the lead. They were able to come within 11points. Little did they know, it would be the closest they would get. The relentlessness that is PSU Beaver continued as they went on 36-10 run. With ten minutes remaining in the game, Dubois was down 37. PSUD would find themselves with a deficit they knew they couldn't dig out of however, they never gave up in trying to. Dubois would finish the game strong, yet it just wasn't enough. Final score was 56-92. Notable players for Dubois were: Roselli 12, Aucker 12, Huey 9, Pierce 7, Washington 5.

Dubois returns to action on Friday, December 9th as they play host to PSU Greater Allegheny. Tip is set for 8:00.
