Bench contributes in 89-79 Win over Defending Conference Champions

The Nittany Lions, and defending conference champions of PSU Mont Alto paid a visit to Dubois Friday night. It was a low scoring game for much of the first half as defensive pressure showed its presence on both ends of the court. At the ten-minute mark, a 3-point shot from Donovan Boyd gave Dubois a double digit lead, 22-11. Both teams battled the remaining of the first half as dubious held Mont Alto to a season low 27 first half points. PSUD found themselves up 12 at half. With twelve minutes remaining in the game, Dubois pulled out to their largest lead of the game, 65-45. The defending champions would soon chip into the lead coming within 9 points with just under 5 minutes remaining in the game. Two clutch free throws by Jesse Reynolds with 27 seconds remaining would help seal the 10-point win over the PSUAC defending champions. Notable players for Dubois were: Pierce 20, Roselli 16-8, Aucker 16, Reynolds 10, Pearce 10, and Boyd 8.
