It was another slow start for the Dubois squad as they found themselves down 18-7 within the first 5 minutes. Both teams were battling for points. With ten minutes to go in the half Dubois was down 22-11. Dubois was able to find a spark going on an 11-2 run. For the last 5 minutes of the first half New Kensington was able to pull out to a 29-36 halftime lead. The same pace of game continued in the second half. Five minutes into the second half, the score was 37-46. At the 10:00 mark, both teams battled as Dubois found themselves down ten (46-56).  Dubois then made another run as they cut into the deficit. With five minutes remaining the score was 59-61. New Kensington would then end the game as they went on a 19-13 run to defeat Dubois.
