The Penn State DuBois men's basketball team got off to a fast start figuratively and literally Wednesday night when they hosted Pitt- Titusville; as an early 17-2 lead led to a 53-28 half-time score.  Paced by up-tempo offensive, balanced scoring, and stifling defense which proved to be too much for the Panthers to handle against Coach Bennett's team.

Six players reached double figure led by senior-captain Woody Mitchell with 20 points, others to score in double figures were Kyle Mills (18), Kai Ahmad (15), Daishawn Howell (14), Darrian Brown and Isaiah Jordan with 10 apiece.  Coach Bennett was able to use all of his bench as he spread playing time with all 12 players on the roster, with the majority of the players getting 14 to 15 minutes on the court.

DuBois shot 53.8% for the game including 46% from 3 point range while holding Pitt-Titusville to 29% shooting on the game and forced 28 turnovers from the Panthers.

PSU DuBois will be back in action on Friday as they participate at the John Benchoff Tip-off Tournament at PSU Mont Alto.  DuBois will face Central Penn College at 6pm Friday with the winner facing either Davis College or host Mont Alto in the championship game on Saturday afternoon.   DuBois will be back home on Nov. 26th when the host Westmoreland County CC in a double-header with the ladies at 6 & 8pm.
