With the weather finally cooperating enough to get a baseball game in, Penn State DuBois hosted Pitt- Bradford last night at Showers Field for a single, 9-inning game. Taylor Boland got the start for DuBois, but Coach Calliari would use an arsenal of pitching to get his pen some work.
After going down 1-0 Corey Lehman would get DuBois on the board with a solo shot of his own to tie the game. Pitt-Bradford would score a few more runs throughout the game to go up, 7-1. In DuBois fashion though, they made a run that started with a bases clearing double by Gavin Zoelle that scored 3 more. Tyler Yough would then single in Cole Breon, and Trevor Hanna would hit a deep sac fly that scored Lehman to bring the game to within 1 un, 7-6.
In the end Pitt-Bradford would stay on top and take the game, 7-6. DuBois will travel to Mont Alto on Saturday for a double header before returning to Showers Field on Sunday to host a single 9-inning game.
