2017 USCAA Baseball All-American Teams

Congratulations to the 2017 USCAA Baseball All-Americans and special award winners announced Sunday at the pre-tournament banquet.

Penn State DuBois Baseball team has 4 players recognized on the USCAA All-American teams.

First Team All-American: Clayton Butler - 1st base & Pitcher

Second Team All-American: Alex Hart – Pitcher and Dominc Kriner - Pitcher

Honorable Mention: Zach Walsh – Catcher

Clayton Butler is a sophomore from Blanchard, PA he attended Central Mountain High School. Clayton leads the team in home runs (4) and has a .368 batting average. On the mound Butler has a 1-1 record.

Alex Hart is a Junior from State College, PA and attended Kiski Prep School. Alex is a Right Handed Pitcher with a 4-2 record and 2.64 ERA in 44.1 innings pitched. Alex always gives his team an opportunity to win.

Dom Kriner is Senior from DuBois, PA and DuBois Area High School. Dom is a Right Handed Pitcher with a 5-3 record and a 1.74 ERA in 41 innings. Dom averages almost 6 strike outs per game.

Zach Walsh is a senior from Sparks, MD. Zach is a catcher and designated hitter. Zach has a .333 batting average and a .483 on base percentage. He manages the pitching staff well and is an exceptional defensive catcher.
