Malliah Schreck Committs to PSU DuBois

Penn State DuBois Women's Basketball is proud to announce that Malliah Schreck from Cranberry High School will continue her basketball career at the DuBois Campus of Penn State. 

 

A four-year letter winner at Cranberry, Malliah scored 1366 career points and hauled in an astounding 1033 career rebounds. Malliah was selected the past two seasons to the District 9 Basketball All-Stars, as a member of the 1st team in 2019 and 2nd team in 2018.  Also, a two-time KSAC All-Star selection, she helped lead her team to the PIAA District 9 playoffs three years.  The 5'10" team captain averaged 18.8 points and 14.0 rebounds per game as a senior and she has been accepted into the Penn State Education program.

 

In the classroom, Malliah is a member of the National Honor Society (Vice President), Senior Class Officer (Secretary), Conservation Club (Vice President), Seneca Indians 4-H Club (President), as well as the Varsity Club.

 

"Malliah will be a perfect fit at Penn State DuBois.  She is a fantastic athlete, hard worker, and strong student.  She is a proven scorer as well as an aggressive rebounder that has a strong knack for being around the ball. Coach Creighton and I had Malliah very high on our recruiting charts and we look for her to make an immediate impact next season.", stated PSUD head coach Pat Lewis.
