PSUAC Awards Announced

The 2018-19 PSUAC All-Conference Awards have been announced.  Penn State DuBois Melody Young (Eldred, PA) has earned her way onto the 1st Team.  Young is in her senior season and became not only the leading rebounder in school history (862), but also became the first women's basketball player to reach 1,000 career points (1,028).  Young has been a huge asset to Penn State DuBois both on and off of the court.

We also want to recognize Morgan Silvis (Tionesta, PA) for earning the coveted John Fritz Sportsmanship Award.  Silvis averaged 5.9 points for her team this year, while leading the team with a 77.5% free throw percentage.

On the men's side the John Fritz Sportsmanship Award recipient went to Jordan Jones (Milesburg, PA).  Jones is a Freshman from Bald Eagle High School, and had 16 total rebounds and 1 start in his Freshman debut, and was a pivotal part of Coach Howard's team.
