The DuBois Volleyball team is headed to the National Tournament! After a tough loss to Beaver in the quarterfinals of the PSUAC Tournament, DuBois saw the light start to flicker out their hopes of getting a bid to the USCAA National Tournament.
Coach Alberts fought through every scenario possible that would qualify his team for a tournament bid, but it would still come down to a split decision by the selection committee. After such a great season the Lady Lions were not willing to accept that their season was over, and so they waited on pins and needles as the USCAA National Volleyball Tournament selection show went under way.
With each team that was announced the tension grew in the room, and with only one spot left in the field there was never a more silent moment in the history of Penn State DuBois Volleyball.
"And with the final seeding, Penn State DuBois will round out the field!" The team erupted with excitement as they earned Penn State DuBois Volleyball's first ever trip to the USCAA National Championship Tournament.
