Melody Young had an exceptional weekend as her team went 2-0 in conference play. She played a key role in leading the DuBois Women's Basketball team to a now 2-1 PSUAC record on the season.
Melody is a Senior from Eldred, PA and is majoring in Administration of Justice.
Melody Becomes All-Time Rebounding Leader!
With 35 rebounds in three games this past week, Melody (Otto Eldred HS) became the all-time leading rebounder in Penn State DuBois history with a present total 720 rebounds. She passed PSUD graduate Patience McCullough’s 690 total from 2010-2014 seasons.
Young has averaged 9.4 rebounds for the first 77 games of her career and this year is averaging 10.9 rebounds a game this season along with averaging 11.7 points per game. This past season, Melody was the first PSUD player named to USCAA All-American (HM).
