Keara Shrefler has earned a spot in this weeks Student-Athlete Spotlight with her play in 5 matches over this past week.
The first match against Westmoreland County Community College Shrefler hit the stat line strong with 18 kills in only 26 attacks as Dubois defeated the Wolfpack in 3 sets.
The team had 4 weekend matches against PSUAC opponents, and Shrefler proved she was one of the best in the conference as she came out strong in all 4 victories. Shrefler had a weekend high of 20 kills against both Brandywine and Lehihg Valley, and included 6 service aces against Scranton and 5 against York.
Shrefler has helped her team to an undefeated week (5-0), and a 9 game winning streak.
Shrefler is an Occupational Therapy major from St. Marys Area High School.
